Ryan Belongie is a professional opera and concert singer based in Chicago. He has appeared on stage and in concert at some of the largest and most prestigious opera houses and concert halls in North America, working with many of the most celebrated conductors, singers, and stage directors in the classical music world. His professional education and training included apprenticeships at the prestigious Merola Opera Program and Adler Fellowship at San Francisco Opera after graduating from the Vocal Honors Program and Music Theater Certificate Program at Northwestern University. Mr. Belongie is a passionate voice teacher across all musical genres - from opera to music theater to rock, striving to help singers reach their highest potential with an emphasis on vocal health. He has conducted masterclasses and served as a clinician and competition judge at DePaul University, Northwestern University, Roosevelt University (CCPA), and St. John's University, Minnesota. His students have been accepted into some of the finest music schools in the United States including Chapman University, Indiana University, North Carolina School of the Arts, Northwestern University, and Syracuse University. He is on the voice faculty of the New Music School, First Conservatory of La Grange, and maintains a private studio on the North Shore.
