Ryan Belongie is an opera and concert singer based in Chicago.  He has appeared on stage and in concert at some of the largest and most prestigious opera houses and concert halls in North America, working with many celebrated conductors, singers, and stage directors in the classical music world.  His education and training included apprenticeships at San Francisco Opera's Merola Opera Program and Adler Fellowship and graduating from the Vocal Honors Program and Music Theater Certificate Program at Northwestern University.  Ryan is a passionate voice teacher across multiple musical genres - from opera to music theater to pop / rock, striving to help singers reach their full potential while prioritizing long term vocal health.  He has conducted masterclasses and served as a clinician and competition judge at DePaul University, Northwestern University, Roosevelt University (CCPA), and St. John's University, Minnesota.  His students have been accepted into some of the finest music and drama schools in the United States including the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Chapman University, Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU-Tisch, Emerson College, Indiana University, Ithaca College, North Carolina School of the Arts, Northwestern University, and Syracuse University.
